I'll admit, I had to look typography up. "Typography is the art and technique of arranging type, type design, and modifying type glyphs. Type glyphs are created and modified using a variety of illustration techniques." So I chose to make a "tree" out of the word Christmas and then stitched "brunch" under it to demonstrate variety.

I have lousy hand writing...so I ususally limit (or even eliminate) journaling. But, I absolutely LOVE my Cricut. So when I do titles, I love to use it! There are dozens of fonts to chose from. Here I used the ZooBalloo font. I used the cut out paper instead of the individual letters and backed it with a contrasting paper. I layered lots and lots of Websters pages paper on this!

I wanted to emphasize my theme so I repeated the title over and over in different fonts and sizes. I tried to keep the type black and white to draw attention to the pictures.

For this challenge I decided to make a layout about another one of my addictions crocheting. I used a lot of mini alphas to make terms for following patterns like chain, and ss(slip stitch) I also decided to add a little journaling all the way around my layout. Iam sorry it is hard to see the journaling, there will be more photos on my blog too. Thanks Amy for such a great challenge!

I did masking of alphabets using KI Memories die cut papers and sprayed over the kraft paper with glimmer mist. And titled the layout using chipboard alphas from Scenic Route. Had fun with this challenge! Thanks so much for a wonderful challenge Amy!!
