The fine print: Your project must be NEW and made specifically for this challenge. If it is a layout, it must include a photo (or photos), a title and journaling. In other words, we don't want just a photo slapped on a page with some journaling and that be your layout, kwim?? Put some thought and time into it.

When your project is complete, please upload it into the Gallerie and then link us up here. (Either the thumbnail of the project or the link to the page will work.)

All scrappy challenges are due by 11:59 PM (CST) on Monday, May 18th. All scrappy challenges may be completed only once for an entry into the Spring Into Summer prize drawings.

I bought the Tim Holtz scratcher after seeing him do this on his tags at Christmas. Of course, I have never used it

this was so much fun and gave me instant impact! I scratched around the edges of the photos. Ive never done this before!

Here's my scratched up layout. I made it last night at friends and they hated the scratching sound ...made them think they were in the dentist chair having plaque scrapped off !!!
But I love the effect and will use it again !!!! Thanks for the challenge Amy!!

Here is mine, I scratch the edge aroung the blue lace paper.

I edited this for a better photo. I used my MM distresser around the edges of the paper and my Tonic scraper to distress around the artisnal shapes.

This was one of the challenges that I didn't get time to complete, but have copied it to my pc for future use.
